Résumé : What is the Covenant Stone? World War II ended just a year ago. As the world begins to put itself back together, Professor Emmitt Carter and his daughter Kate are investigating an ancient, mysterious artifact that may have played a key role in founding early civilizations. Before they know it, the Carters are caught up in a dangerous race to find and control this powerful artifact. When her father suddenly disappears, Kate is forced to hire Buck Haggard and his partner Jock, two expatriated soldiers-of-fortune living in South America, to find her father. As Buck, Jock and Kate follow Emmitt's trail to Palestine, they quickly discover this is more than a rescue mission. They are competing with a Nazi remnant and an ancient secret society, both determined to find and control what may be the most dangerous object the world has ever known. For these three unlikely adventurers, everything is about to change...
Biographie:
Jim Cooper (born 1967) lives and works in Marysville Ohio. Jim grew up in rural southern Ohio, and after attending college joined the United States Air Force and finished his formal education. Jim has always been an avid student of history, a fan of classic cars, and fascinated by adventure and science fiction stories. During his military career Jim was also fortunate enough to travel around the world, where he made a point to learn as much as he could about the many places he visited. After his service in the military, Jim came home to Ohio, where he and his wife Kathy raised two sons and a daughter. Jim now uses his own unique combination real-world history, experience, fringe theory and fantasy to craft his stories. He and Kathy continue to travel and learn about the amazing world we live in. The Covenant Stone is his first published effort.
