Over all this masterpiece is poured a ?ood of liquid harmony in the acme of the two-edged satire, aimed alike at laws and law-breakers, the graceless crew are raised above the level of gipsies, footpads, and rogues, and made, like Titans, to launch their thunders of rebel lion against the world.
