I hope this poetry hits home with someone and inspires them. I love the late poet Maya Angelou. She was a phenomenal poet and I believe she was before her time. Still I Rise, Phenomenal Woman, and On The Pulse of The Morning are my favorite poems from her. She taught me it's okay to be yourself even if you have to stand alone because there's only one you....
Biographie:
My name is Sheena Steele. I grew up in Richmond, Virginia with my parents and older sister. I am a Christian and grew up in a Christian household. I have faith in my God and love my God with all my heart and mind and soul and strength. My faith and love for people inspires my poetry. I love poetry and love writing it. I've had my share of heartbreaks, failures and people backstabbing me. All of this has shaped my poetry and my life.I am a mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. I love to help people when I can. I love people and hate to see people hurting and in pain. I am a caring, friendly, loving person and I truly want what's best for people.I believe that most people are good at heart, have a good heart and want the best for others....
