Biographie:

Anna Leon-Guerrero is Professor of Sociology at Pacific Lutheran University, Tacoma, Washington. A recipient of the university?s Faculty Excellence Award, she teaches courses on statistics, sociological theory and social problems. As a social service program evaluator and consultant, her research has focused on welfare reform, employment strategies for the working poor, and program assessment. She is the co-author of Social Statistics for a Diverse Society (with Chava Frankfort-Nachmias).

Kristine Zentgraf is an Associate Professor at California State University, Long Beach. A recipient of the university?s 2004-2005 Distinguished Faculty Teaching Award, she teaches courses on sociological theory, social stratification, race, class and gender, and sociology of immigration. Her research focuses on issues related to gender, family and immigration and she is currently working on a project about immigrant family separation. She is the co-author of American Transformed: Globalization, Inequality and Power (with Gary Hytrek).
