David Harvey is one of the most cited authors in the humanities and social sciences. A leading theorist in the field of urban studies whom Library Journal called 'one of the most influential geographers of the later twentieth century,' he is currently a Distinguished Professor of Anthropology and Earth and Environmental Sciences at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.
