    • Résumé :
What happens in the After of the Covid-19 or Corona pandemic, what? We do not know, for how long the Novel Coronavirus is going to control our activities, our fears, and our lifestyle. Experts believe that the main reason behind the spread of such diseases, which can be transmitted to humans from animals, is deforestation and climate change. Coronaviruses, including those related to SARS-CoV-2, are present in many wild mammals in Asia. Corona is not the first, and most certainly, will not be the last pandemic that the world is going to face. In the Post -Ccovid Eera all countries must be in routine preparedness for such influenza pandemics or other virus pandemics. All countries need to strengthen the healthcare systems and upgrade the reporting process and protocol to handle such crises. One of the main reasons behind this pandemic is the greed of human beings. Dangerous viruses have spread, mainly, due to deforestation. It has resulted in environmental damage causing climate change and ultimately destroying the natural habitat of wildlife. Increasing demand for minerals, palm oil, beef, and wood products is the main reason for deforestation forcing a change in the natural habitat of animals. We must cut the emission of greenhouse gases in the next twenty years, otherwise, the average global temperature will increase by more than 2 0 C, resulting in expanding deserts, disappearing ice caps, rising oceans, and even more extreme weather events. These changes, in turn, will disrupt agriculture production, inundate cities on the seashore, and make much of the world uninhabitable. Unfortunately, most governments are ignoring the threat. If we learn our lessons in the wake of COVID-19 and other pandemics and about the consequences of inaction, we shall be more prepared to save lives and future generations.

      Biographie:
As a child, the author enjoyed reading books more than playing outside with other kids. It later turned into his passion and he soon began writing short stories. Many of his stories have been published in Hindi magazines and quite a few can be found on the website www.gadyakosh.com. The author is a mining engineer but briefly worked as a correspondent and editor of a Hindi daily before returning to the mining industry. In fact, while working at a mine on the outskirts near a forest, the author discovered his love for nature which finally led him to become a reformed green activist. In India, the regulatory bodies are understaffed, and the bureaucratic setup does not allow regular and intense monitoring. In 2002 he started working for environmental protection while working in mines. He motivated mine owners and was instrumental in a huge plantation at mine overburden dumps. The mines where he was working was awarded many times for their environment protection work by the Indian Bureau of Mines, Government of India. He still actively participates in raising environmental issues with activists after retirement. The author's father was a doctor and he admired him for his noble service to his patients. Though he did not go for medical education, he ended up reading many books about nature cure and homeopathy. He started advising people natural herbal and homeopathic treatments for different ailments, as a service to society. He has been serving people in this manner for the last 35 years. He lives in Bangalore, India with his family.
