To say that life has been unfair to Cordelia Feldman would be a colossal understatement. A gifted, gregarious student, her life was derailed at 19 when she developed an extreme form of bipolar disorder that severely limited her career aspirations, her social activities and her love life. Aged 34, in an unbelievably cruel double whammy, she was diagnosed with breast cancer that was soon pronounced incurable and spread inexorably around her body. WELL DONE ME is a frank, fearless and often funny memoir of her struggles with both illnesses, including no-holds-barred descriptions of the myriad treatments she has endured and their sometimes horrific side effects. It is also an inspiring account of her many startling achievements in the face of a death sentence, not least publishing her first novel In Bloom, followed by this memoir. Now aged 42 she has outlived her predicted life expectancy by several years. Well done her! ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Cordelia Feldman lives in Hertfordshire with her hugely supportive parents, and a beloved ginger cat named Spitfire. Notwithstanding long term medical treatment for her bipolar disorder and cancer, Cordelia manages to keep fit with her passion for gym sessions with a personal trainer. She enjoys knitting, dog walking and Tarot, and her more recent studies include astrology.
