    • Résumé :
The Bee Hunters: Translated By Sir Lascelles Wraxall This book is a result of an effort made by us towards making a contribution to the preservation and repair of original classic literature. In an attempt to preserve, improve and recreate the original content, we have worked towards: 1. Type-setting & Reformatting: The complete work has been re-designed via professional layout, formatting and type-setting tools to re-create the same edition with rich typography, graphics, high quality images, and table elements, giving our readers the feel of holding a 'fresh and newly' reprinted and/or revised edition, as opposed to other scanned & printed (Optical Character Recognition - OCR) reproductions. 2. Correction of imperfections: As the work was re-created from the scratch, therefore, it was vetted to rectify certain conventional norms with regard to typographical mistakes, hyphenations, punctuations, blurred images, missing content/pages, and/or other related subject matters, upon our consideration. Every attempt was made to rectify the imperfections related to omitted constructs in the original edition via other references. However, a few of such imperfections which could not be rectified due to intentional\unintentional omission of content in the original edition, were inherited and preserved from the original work to maintain the authenticity and construct, relevant to the work. We believe that this work holds historical, cultural and/or intellectual importance in the literary works community, therefore despite the oddities, we accounted the work for print as a part of our continuing effort towards preservation of literary work and our contribution towards the development of the society as a whole, driven by our beliefs. We are grateful to our readers for putting their faith in us and accepting our imperfections with regard to preservation of the historical content. HAPPY READING!...

      Biographie:
Gustave Aimard, born Olivier Aimard on September 13, 1818, in Paris, France, was a prolific author best known for his adventure novels set in Latin America and the American frontier. His works often explored the lives of trappers, adventurers, and the complex interactions between settlers and indigenous peoples. Aimard's writing was deeply influenced by his personal experiences, having lived in various parts of South America. His novels, written in the mid-19th century, were filled with vivid depictions of the wilderness, the struggles of the frontier, and the interplay of cultures during the age of colonization. His characters often embodied themes of loyalty, honor, and survival amidst brutal landscapes. Despite the adventurous nature of his stories, Aimard's works also subtly critiqued European colonization and the impact of imperialism. In his narratives, he positioned the good guys as trappers and native people, contrasting them with the corrupt forces of colonial powers. Aimard passed away on June 20, 1883, in Paris at the age of 64. His legacy remains one of the foremost writers of adventure fiction during the 19th century, particularly for his portrayals of the Americas....

      Sommaire:
Gustave Aimard (13 September 1818 - 20 June 1883) wrote several novels about Latin America and the American frontier. Oliver Aimard was born in Paris. As he previously stated, he was the offspring of two married individuals, but not to each other. His father, Fran?ois S?bastiani de la Porta (1775-1851), was a commander in Napoleon's army and a representative of the Louis Philippe government. S?bastiani was married to the Duchess of Coigny. In 1806, the couple had a daughter, Alatrice-Rosalba Fanny. The mother died shortly after she was born. Fanny was reared by her grandmother, Duchess of Coigny. According to the July 9, 1883 edition of the New York Times, Aimard's mother was named Madame....
