After retiring from a fifty-year teaching career, June Simmons, of Conway,Arkansas, has penned two fiction books: Jack the Freedom Dog, based on the antics of hermischievous pet; and Journey to Marlsgate, inspired by Ruby, the sweet dog who wasthe greeter at Marlsgate.
