Biographie: Upon deep reflection on his life, he looks back to 1978 and especially 1983 as the turning points in his life. 1978 was a turning point in his search to truly know himself and to pursue a meaningful life and wrote a poem which exemplifies his commitment to seek God to know him intimately and to serve him all the days of his life. The poem was written during his four years in College and was published in the school magazine Footnotes in Spring 1978 Vol. 5, No. 2. The poem is simple and easy to digest and appears on page ( )... In 1983, he prayed to God for a sign after praying and fasting three days in a week for six months during the pregnancy of his wife who had previously miscarried four times during the sixth month of each pregnancy and God proved himself to him exactly as he had prayed for. He asked God to have it rain at exactly 6pm on a Friday when he was about to break his fast and have the thunder strike three times and in August 1983 on a Friday at 6pm it rained and the thunder struck seven times. He continued fasting until his son was born in November and his daughter was born seven years after his son. This experience sealed his faith in God. There is more to this experience and Gods extended blessings to other family members that he prayed for at the same time who had children the same years as his children and only months apart. He states that in life you must want more for others than you want for yourself.
