Enid Mayfield is an Honorary Associate of the Royal Botanic Gardens in Victoria, Australia. She studied Botanical Illustration at Burnley Horticultural College before illustrating for the Flora of Victoria at the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne Department of Plant Sciences. She has contributed to the Flora of Australia project and many other publications, including her own two-volume Flora of the Otway Plain and Ranges, for which she spent 12 years in the field collecting specimens.
