Présentation The Quest For Inner Happiness Format Broché
- Livre Science humaines et sociales, Lettres
Résumé :
How can I be happy? How can I enjoy life? Everyone has innate intuition and the ability to be mindful. Every day there are opportunities to come from a place of truth, integrity, and goodwill-with a clear intention for self-healing, allowing personal growth and becoming more of who we really are. Conscious awareness, engagement, and right behavior leading to positive change and a joyful existence. Learn how to cultivate and improve awareness of your problems, how to limit their effects on your inner life, and develop strategies to better cope with them. This book is a culmination of years of study and experience as a yoga teacher, a psychologist and psychotherapist, Anna V. Shapiro has worked with both men and women, young and old, and across several cultures. She has a strong practice of meditation and yogic studies which have been crucial in her own personal growth and as well as her clinical practice. Referencing specific patient-cases from her practice-showing examples of stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and more-and applying the principles from all of her practices to help clients become more mindful of their behavior and emotional responses, discover inner strength in overcoming adversities and find peace, joy and calmness....
