Résumé :
The book offers an insight into vital questions like What will be the fundamental components of the Syllabus of Text Type Course?. In this study, K?doglu argues that Text Types Course, a key aspect of almost all translation teaching programs, should be detached from its crystallised teaching patterns. There have been significant modifications observed in educational sciences, translation teaching and translation profession. It is therefore essential that the Syllabus of Text Types Course be revised accordingly. To this end, the author seeks to offer a comprehensive syllabus written up on the basis of data analysis that has been conducted at higher education level and innovations in translation pedagogy as well. The book that is characterized by its multidisciplinary approach intends to provide translation instructors and course developers with a framework for text types course and other related courses....
Biographie:
Asl? Kalkan K?doglu holds a master?s degree in Translation and Interpretation from Hacettepe University. She has been working as an English instructor at the SFL, Ankara University where she worked as a teacher trainer between 2010 and 2012. Her main interest areas are learner engagement, professional development and social media language learning.
