Biographie:
J.C. Collery is a writer with many faces who was born in a small hamlet on the north shore of Long Island and while as an adolescent, relocated to a rural upstate NY village. A multi-disciplinary tradesmen by day, alternative writer by night. An artist whose sources are gritty, raw, and unadulterated. Objectively unique, they stride in an attempt to bring the reader 'into the dirt' through experience, and familiarity with the selected subject nature. J.C. Collery spent most of their early life torn between two lifestyles. One, a sheltered artistic hermit with little gratification. The other, a free spirited townsman with many friends and passions. Using this often harrowing difference in self recognition allowed J.C. to develop a unique view on society and life in general. Passionate about a vast array of creative interests, their inquisitive attention to detail flows effortlessly into the page. Creating a bridge between fiction and reality so relevant that one might question their own perspective. Their writing can rattle at the core of the unaware reader. A natural poet and wordsmith, readers will truly feel the heart and soul that J.C. Collery attaches to every word that is written. Inviting them for a gritty, yet beautiful walk into the never ending sunset that is life.
