Biographie: Gregory B. Stone is Joseph S. Yenni Memorial Professor of Italian Studies and professor of French, Italian, and Comparative Literature at Louisiana State University. His previous books on Italian literature are Dante's Pluralism and the Islamic Philosophy of Religion and The Ethics of Nature in the Middle Ages: On Boccaccio's Poetaphysics.
