ABOUT AUTHOR The author was born in Geneva, New York and attended kindergarten, first, and second grades in North Tonawanda. His family then moved to Long Island where he graduated Seaford High School. Mr. Callahan achieved an A.A. in Liberal Arts from Nassau Community College, a B.A. in English/Education and an M.A. in English from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Years later he achieved a J.D. from St. John's Law School, Jamaica, New York. The author has worked primarily as an English teacher and an attorney. Biographie:
Timothy Callahan is a former naval architect and general contractor. He is now in his fifth decade of design-build work, with extensive experience in timber framing and natural residential construction. Tim was a part of the team that developed the 2024 International Residential Code Appendix BL Hemp-Lime Construction for hemplime's first appearance in US building codes. Since 1995, his work has been focused on the creation of healthy and energy-efficient homes. In an effort to develop a model for a low-carbon and non-toxic living environment, Tim led the design team for the Nauhaus Prototype in 2009...
