Biographie:
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Alejandra's first book is inspired by her own experience as a mother, thinking about the legacy she would leave for her sons and her experience as an arts educator working with students of all ages. She truly believes that raising children who are confident in themselves, respectful of others, positive about life and encouraged to explore their creativity through art and music will result in more fulfi lled and nurturing adults. Alejandra is a visual artist working primarily with Paper-Mache. In 2000 she moved from Mexico to Manitoba, Canada where she lives with her husband, two sons and their family dog. She loves art, colour, music, her family, and life. Este primer libro de Alejandra est? inspirado en su experiencia como madre y el legado que le gustar?a dejar a sus hijos; y en su experiencia como educadora en arte, trabajando con estudiantes de todas las edades. Experimenting with acrylic, oil, pastel, and for fifteen years with watercolour, her passion for art has taken her through a multitude of diff erent studies and she has participated in numerous solo and collective art shows. She is extremely excited to have created the beautiful watercolour illustrations for Life Values for You. When Cecilia is not travelling, she spends time painting at either of her houses in Mexico City, Quer?taro, and Acapulco. The rest of her time is dedicated towards her business and enjoying life to the fullest.
