In recent years, the market has shown a growing interest in adding value to textile materials through treatments with natural products. In this context, the use of natural plant extracts not only makes it possible to dye the substrates, but also to give them multifunctional properties considered attractive to consumers, such as UV protection and antimicrobial activity. Thus, this study aimed to evaluate the feasibility of using aqueous extracts from eucalyptus leaves and onion bark in the dyeing and anti-UV and antimicrobial finishing of polyamide and cotton substrates. The dyeing and finishing processes developed allowed obtaining dyed, multifunctional and sustainable cotton and polyamide materials, produced with low environmental impact and using only products of natural origin....
