Priscilla Wachira is a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional CounselorAssociate in the state of Texas. She holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health and is passionate about community engagement, outreach efforts, physical and mental health education focused on empowering young adults across various cultures. Her research interests include:? Health Equity as is it relates to women's health.? Exploring barriers that affect emotional expression among different cultures.? Mental Health stigma within the immigrant community? Cultural stigmas regarding shame, guilt, and vulnerability specifically.? The measure of authenticity, courage, hope, and resiliency from various culturalviews.Priscilla is a firm believer that, People begin to heal the moment they feel heard.
