Résumé :
Ten-year-old Ernest is a pigeon fanatic. He spends his days watching them fly over his home and dreams of racing his own pigeon, if only he had one. At last, Ernest's wish comes true when he stumbles across a pigeon easy enough to catch. The only problem is... this pigeon doesn't like to fly. Ernest soon realises flying pigeons isn't as easy as he had thought...
Biographie:
David Livesey is a retired animator and painter. He has always had a long-standing love of the Isle of Man, especially its heritage and folklore, and he retired to the island in 2003 after a long career in the animation industry, having worked as a Key Animator on such films as Yellow Submarine, The Snowman and The BFG.The Buggane of St Trinian's is his first illustrated book, which was originally published in 1993. Transcribed from four differing versions, and illustrated by David in a graphic style with limited text, it retells this well-known folklore story, passing it on to future generations in a way they can all understand and relate to.Additional publications by David Livesey include The Moddey Dhoo - The Black Dog of Peel Castle, My Friend Elsie, Ernest and My Northern Paintings.
