If someone was asked to describe your character, what would they say? Philippians 2:5 states, Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus. James 3:1 tells us that a teacher will be judged more strictly because of assuming the responsibility of teaching. As Christian educators, do we think like Jesus would think? Do we act like Jesus would act? Do we take our teaching responsibility seriously? If you were the only example of a Christian that your students were ever to observe, would they be drawn to Christ? In WANTED: Christian Educators with Character we are challenged to examine our lives in light of Scripture to live a life of character. Insight is given as to how to develop this life so we are able to live above reproach, which will enable us to be the example we need to be to our students and to others.
