Through the brave voices of people from the LGBTQ+ community, you will read about what it is like coming out and being a member of this community in everyday life. You will also get a look at what it was like 50+ years ago compared to today. The author hopes to help people just coming out, and the person who has come out but feels alone on their journey. She wants to benefit parents, families and friends who realize they love someone who is LGBTQ+ but doesn't know what it means. This book is meant to inspire anyone who wants to be educated about this community and help people who think it is a choice or wrong to be LGBTQ+ realize that what they think is false.

Biographie:
Heather is the mother of a member of the LGBTQ+ community. She is a fierce ally for the community and an advocate for equal rights and acceptance. She often shows her support at the state capitol when legislation is being considered. A member of Parasol Patrol, she helps protect people at LGBTQ+ events, and she lovingly gives hugs at Pride events with Free Mom Hugs. Heather enjoys life with her husband of 30 years and her two adult children.
