Produced in theatres and festivals across Europe, Aalst has built a reputation as a powerful and complex piece of modern theatre which raises disturbing questions that have no easy answer....

        A magnificent writer with liberal empathy for man's dark side, according to the Daily Telegraph, Duncan McLean (b. Fraserburgh, Scotland, 1964) is a novelist, playwright, and short story writer. His writing career began in the 1980s with the award winning Merry Mac Fun Co, a street theatre and comedy act for whom McLean wrote songs, plays and standup routines. The company won many awards, twice nominated for the Perrier Comedy Award. McLean's first book, Bucket of Tongues was published in 1992. His plays include: Aalst...
