A young woman has her life flash before her eyes-along with everyone and everything else's-at what seems the end of the universe. A haughty vampire finds out what happens when one of the undead gets in a philosophical power struggle with a disguised wizard. A werewolf hunter more ruthless and vicious than any lycanthrope finally learns what there is even he should fear. These stories and more, most published over a long span, combine with evocative and fantastical spoken word performance pieces and published verse, to give a retrospective of Robert Subiaga Jr.'s poetry and short fiction going back over his thirty-plus years as a writer....

Biographie:
Robert Subiaga Jr's peripatetic path has led,physically, from Minneapolis to Glasgow, Iceland to the Everglades to the Mohave Desert, the lightsof Las Vegas to the Sierra Nevada and the Pacific. Armed with a B.A. in Physiology, an
interdisciplinary M.A. in Liberal Studies, and a range of various teaching certifications over the years, his abstract wanderings have taken him justas many places, especially as an educatorparticularly working with outlier populations such as at-risk youth, and/or the highly gifted.

Subiaga was the screenwriter and executive producer of the 2005 short film The Gnostic, starring the late Francesco Quinn, has been a frequent fixture on various poetry and spoken word circuits, and was the author of the 1993 novel Eyes and-after a two decade plus hiatus from novels-2017's experimental/apocalyptic/dystopian work The Judgment of Helen.
