Sommaire: Petra Kuppers is a community artist, a disability culture activist and Associate Professor of English, Theatre and Women's Studies, University of Michigan. She is the author of Disability and Contemporary Performance: Bodies on Edge, 2003, and The Scar of Visibility: Medical Performances and Contemporary Art, 2007. Gwen Robertson is Associate Professor of Art History at Humboldt State University specializing in 20th century and contemporary art. Her research and teaching interests center on rethinking the role of the arts in contemporary life.
