These paintings depicted in this book are of a very turbulent time of the painter growing up life and the desperations to capture the state of being through any style necessary, without prior experiences. On reflection, those growing up trials and tribulations are not dissimilar, however, how the dissimilar is interpreted through life experiences form the individual's perspectives. The imagery used are of our daily life for many in the west but differ around the world and while the perspective maybe subjective, messages of that are dissimilar; love, pain, heartache and betrayal.
Biographie:
Mayar Akash has written a numbers of books relating to Bangladeshi community in United Kingdom and specifically about the Sylhetis. Mayar's books have been published through the Bangladeshi East End, imprints. Mayar also has published four other books about his personal life, the are Father to Child - collection poems and proses about growing up and his married life. His second book River of life was a reflective book about life through his accounts and poems. His third book Eyewithin is a catalogue of his artwork, ranging from drawing, paintings, visual art and other disciplines dating back from his college years to 2018. His 4th book is a collection of poems that he wrote as he grew up; these poems raw and capture the writes pain and tribulations. There many other titles that are quick to find my googling books by Mayar Akash, this will present you arrage of books he has written about his community through his eyes and experiences; they all present an unique perspective of this British bangaldeshi who has lived, worked and grown up in England, London, East; giving the reading the view of London through his eyes.
