From Mike's career as a professional musician to being wheelchair bound after cancer spread to his brain stem, to becoming a five-time triathlete, this story is raw, unfiltered and, although at times unbelievable, all true. It is above all else a story about how faith, family, friends and the power of prayer continue to strengthen this family.
Biographie:
Mike Turnbull was a professional musician for thirty years, and had the good fortune of traveling to over one hundred countries. Karen Turnbull was a professional dancer and dance educator. She is currently the CEO of Fresh Start Nutrition and Bodywork, LLC practicing massage therapy and nutrition coaching. Mike and Karen met in 1998 while working on a world cruise. Married in 2002, their sons were born in 2007 and 2011. In 2013 Mike was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer, and this story begins then.
