This book provides insights into the challenges posed by the disease of toxoplasmosis and strategies formulated to deal with them. A universal organism able to infect all birds and mammals, which has been predicted to contaminate one-third of the global human population, Toxoplasma gondii is the strongest parasite on Earth, and toxoplasmosis a serious zoonotic disease.
