Biographie:

Bootsie Wingate is the eighty-seven-year-old grandmother of artist, Emilie Wingate, who is studying art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Bootsie is the mother of three children, fourteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren (with one more on the way). This is her debut children's book.
