Properties: Rich in alkaloids, particularly boldine (approximately 30%), flavonoids, glycosides and essential oils (eucalyptol); all the active principles of boldo act synergistically mainly in the liver. It is choleretic (increases the production of bile), cholagogue (accelerates the emptying of the gallbladder), a powerful hepatoprotective and eupeptic (facilitates digestion). It is also slightly laxative and diuretic. Because of all this, the boldo is perfect to take after a copious meal. Applications - Digestive effect - Antiflatulence - Stimulates bile production - Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory Instructions for use Tablets: 2 tablets two or three times a day, after a meal. Warnings: In case of serious lesions of the hepatic cells, consult a doctor. It is also not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.
