Sommaire:
Marie Keen Shaw is the former Program Coordinator for the Library Technology certificate program at Connecticut State Community College, where she is also an Adjunct Professor. She teaches courses in Cataloging and Classification, Digital Information and Technology, Reference Services, and Management Strategies. She serves on the Southern Connecticut State University Graduate School of Library and Information Science Advisory Board and the Groton Public Library Board. She has served on the Advisory Board of the Connecticut Digital Library, and chaired the Board of the Connecticut Library Consortium. Marie has her Doctorate of Education from the University of Connecticut in Educational Leadership and Adult Learning, a Sixth-Year Degree from Southern Connecticut State University in Educational Leadership, and her M.S. from Purdue University in Library and Information Science and Educational Media. A retired certified high school Library Media Specialist and Curriculum Instructional Leader, she has been a speaker at state library and educational media conferences in Rhode Island, Illinois, and Connecticut.
