His first young adult fantasy series installment The King's Mark: Of Gods And Men has been received with wide acclaim by readers from all over the globe. Shafik's debut book is a labor of love that is four fruitful years in the making, even basing one of its main characters - Nasser Sr. - on his real-life grandfather, Nasry. Gleaning from his personal experiences while growing up in Egypt, Shafik helps bring to life ancient Egyptian Gods and Goddesses like no other. With fantastical twists and turns, this exceptional book series sets the bar high for upcoming masterpieces he's currently working on. When he's not writing, Shafik works in marketing and really only writes during his spare time. But when COVID-19 happened, he was able to create space to allow his creative juices to flow freely.
