      Harrison Harmon was born in Tampa, Florida, in 1978 to an American father and an Indian mother.

      Officially Harrison is a web and software developer engineer, but his heart also beats for chess.

      The passion for this fantastic game was transmitted to him by his mother Akhila, who descends from a well-known family of Indian chess players.

      It is in this family that the author begins his path as a chess player showing a discreet talent from a very young age.

      At the age of 19, he moved to London to study computer engineering, graduating with honors. After graduating, he then took a specialization at the university and business school of London.

      Every year, he participates in the most important chess tournaments in the country, playing hundreds of games both live and online. His strong point is the in-depth knowledge of opening strategies, especially the Sicilian opening.

      Harrison currently lives in Miami, where he works as a web and software development consultant and fintech expert for a large multinational company.

      his experience in fintech allows him to help many companies to set up investment plans for their customers

      His mission is to share his great passion for chess and his engineer and fintech know-how with all his readers and give concrete strategic basics to people who approach these worlds.
