Résumé : The book deals with the topic of wireless communication, which has become popular in organizations and also for private use. The technological background of these applications will be laid out and special emphasis will be placed on the IEEE 802.11x-Standards that have been developed for this technology.
Biographie: Wolfgang Osterhage was born in Hoerstel in 1948, brought up in Rheine, North-Rhine-Westfalia, Germany. He is married, with three adult children, and has been living in Wachtberg-Niederbachem near Bonn since 1989. He has a PhD in Physics and Information Technology and is the founder and owner of numeric tech, a consulting company specializing in IT-quality, IT-security, data migration, performance and scientific calculations. He is currently an associate lecturer at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, Frankfurt/Main, Germany and is the Co-Editor of Windows Kompendium, WEKA Publishing Company,in Kissing, Germany and Open Journal of Communications and Software, Scientific Online Publishing.
