Influenced by the Bach Passions, the work crosses boundaries between opera and oratorio, with a series of choruses that run through the opera and range from powerful (Night Chorus) to ethereal (Ocean Chorus) to tender (Day Chorus).Instrumentation:mixed choir and piano
