For You is a book about what it takes for some parents to finally have a child of their own. Infertility is an all-too-common hurdle that many people must overcome when wishing to grow their family, and reproductive assistance is often needed in order to make their dreams come true. There are not many children's books currently on the market that talk about fertility treatments. Thus, with compassion, honesty, and hope, Robbyn Danyluk-who underwent in vitro fertilization (IVF) in order to conceive-addresses the difficulties that surround infertility, speaking to both the children created through reproductive technology, as well as to the parents who have gone through-or are going through-IVF and other fertilization processes. Ultimately, For You is a book about the power of a parent's love, and how it extends to children even before they are tiny cells on this earth. There are many hardships encountered during an infertility journey, but nothing is more powerful than the love parents feel when finally holding their child in their arms.
Biographie:
Robbyn Danyluk is a parent and writer. For You is her first publication, inspired by her own experiences with infertility. After trying for two years to start a family, in 2017, she and her husband learned they were not able to have children without reproductive assistance. After much saving, testing, and waiting, she successfully underwent IVF and was able to conceive her son in early 2019. She hopes that For You will help support other families who have undergone their own infertility journeys. She currently lives in Leduc, Alberta, with her husband Mike, and her son Ethan.
