A race called the Astari, benevolent beings with their genesis in Earth's software, befriends the classmates and attempts to protect them. The friends band together with the Astari as they vow to stop their enemy. Either that or they risk certain death. Along the way, these companions witness remarkable wonders but also face adversity and overwhelming sadness. Ultimately, they rekindle a friendship and a love that may change them forever. In the process, they alter the course of civilization.

John Murzycki has crafted messages for organizations ranging from international corporations to technology startups until he left his high-tech marketing and sales manager job to write fiction full-time. Elthea's Realm was his debut novel, the first book in The Story of Elthea's Realm series.He writes about magical places that have roots in the technology of our world. His characters are unlikely heroes who struggle with frailties and imperfections as they face evil forces. Many of his plot ideas stem from the unintended consequences of technology.
