    • Résumé :
Sebastian is an honest, na?ve man from country England in the early 1800s. The coming of age and beyond story is artfully told, with many twists and turns. It describes life and love in Victorian England. Sebastian sets off to expand his horizons to London then the North Pole. Part two spins into the twenty-first century. No spoiler here. The story is delightful, quaint, unexpected, and a totally ripping yarn. You will not put this one down. This will appeal to sportsmen and women as well as the incurable romantics. Neither age or gender specific....

      Biographie:
About the Author Jeremy John Lowley was born during the Second World War in a small town called Urmston, a suburb of Manchester in Lancashire. To the eternal annoyance of his uncle, who was a fanatical cricket fan, in those days you had to be born in Yorkshire to play for the county-Jeremy was never that good anyway! The family eventually migrated to Cheltenham spa in the Cotswolds a remarkably lovely place, dedicated to the arts and music, Jeremy was lucky to be part of a loving family that encouraged interests in theatre, both drama and musicals. His education began in Cheltenham where he became interested in engineering eventually becoming a design engineer with a large aeronautical company. He then decided to migrate to Australia, mainly because of the weather, and also that they spoke a sort of English. Whilst in Western Australia he was offered the chance to read the news on the local ABC radio, this was during the time when the iron ore industries were becoming so important, it would appear that just about every week plane loads of Japanese business men were visiting WA. All of them with virtually unpronounceable names, he was told by various friends that a major war was averted by his ignorance, ah well! Jeremy was able to continue his love of live theatre and, whilst in Sydney was offered the part of the king in the musical The King and I. It took the talents of a variety of make-up artists to convert his very European face to one that was even vaguely Asian. He was also lucky to play Malvolio in Twelfth Night and various other parts in classical theatre but maintained a love of comedy.
