James Baker is an inventor, technology entrepreneur, and self-taught engineer living in Seattle, Washington. He holds more than two dozen patents and has designed and marketed over 120 products, including biomedical devices, GPS trackers, power conversion equipment, video games, audience response tools, data storage devices, and a flight control system.A do-it-yourselfer from early childhood, James has been figuring out how things work and fixing problems for over sixty years....

James Baker has had ongoing interest and experience in using photos, video, and other media to tell stories, especially when there is not a common language. He was the founding President and later CEO and Chairman of a research laboratory in Palo Alto which served Xerox in Japan and Asia. For 13 years he traveled extensively in Japan where he used media to describe and discuss technology and research results because he did not speak Japanese. He was the lead author of New Mexico's Pueblo Baseball League, a photo story book of the history of Native American baseball in New Mexico. He was involved in industrial research in systems and software technology for over 30 years and is the author of more than 20 technical publications....
