He has been a private consultant for rock stars like Alex Van Halen, Steve Porcaro of Toto, Christopher Guest of Spinal Tap, and Wayne Kramer of MC5 fame. He has also helped film/TV scorers like Heitor Perreira, Javier Navarette, Kevin Kiner, Jeff Cardoni, and many, many others. Jay Asher scored the TV series Zorro and has written songs that have been recorded by Julio Iglesias, Whitney Houston, and Donna Summer, among others. But along the way, something funny happened: he became a Logic Pro guru!
