Biographie:
Lyle Greenfield was born and raised in Rochester, New York. He is a writer of stories, letters and lyrics. In his early career he was an advertising copywriter and creative director on brands that included Jeep, US Steel, Gillette and Duncan Hines. After leaving the ad business Greenfield embarked on other ventures; he planted a vineyard and built the first winery in the Hamptons (The Bridgehampton Winery). In 1989 he opened Bang Music in New York City and was a founding member and past president of the Association of Music Producers (AMP). In 2019 he published a collection of stories and letters under the title The Soul Mate Expeditions. The novella What Vienna Saw first appeared in that collection. He resides with his wife, Mary Jane Hantz Greenfield, in Amagansett (Township of East Hampton) and New York City.
