The historical biography of three families over a 65 year span from the Korean War to the present written in a novel format. With a Foreword by the author Frank (Bud) Farrell. The charcters lives are tied together by family secrets, deceptions, love, hate & war. True stories of real life heros and celebrities are mixed with hidden family secrets. While searching for answers and living their lives the main characters find surprises & experiences that they had never expected or imagined. A young man is seduced by an older married woman. Childhood friends going off to war, one to escape the other for revenge Forgotten heros rediscovered. An elderly Nun, near death and trying desparately to bury the past, suddenly has to relive 50 year old memories and deal with new challenges, making difficult decisions that affect many other people. A child born out of wedlock,abused & living a lonely life, yet achieving success far beyond his dreams,then discovering a family secret that changes his life forever. Pivital military battles with real life heroes. There are several 'cameos' regarding famous people within the chapters-Howard Hughes & Ava Gardner,Kirk Douglas,John Wayne, J.P Getty, Nick Nolte. All of this leading towards a surprising and uplifting conclusion. The reader experiences a wide variety of emotions as he follows the characters through their lives & experiences.
