Fishing Gear, Craft and Methods is a comprehensive textbook that addresses two components (fishing gear and fishing craft) of the implements employed in capture fisheries enterprise at both the artisanal and industrial sectors. The book is useful for students offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in fishing gear and methods, marine biology, aquatic ecology and elementary boat building technology and craft maintenance. The book is also relevant to industrial (marine) fishermen on the application and maintenance of trawl nets and trawlers and the mending of trawl nets.
