Résumé :
China is one of the world's oldest and richest continuous culture countries. Along with the rapid expansion of Chinese politics, economy, and other fields, China has acquired hold of balance in international affairs. Mandarin is the national language of China. Practical Mandarin Conversation is a book that contains only 20 topics which focuses on the teaching and learning materials of Chinese language and culture. The features of this book are: 1, Each Chinese character is marked with Chinese Pinyin (including four TONES), in order to facilitate the readers them self to read. This is is the characteristic that other Chinese teaching materials do not or seldom have; 2, All contents focus to introduce Chinese culture, natural and humanistic landscapes; 3, Most of the topics are limited to about two pages; 4, Each topic is made up of mainly practical and simple sentences; 5, Each topic is almost limited to 20 sentences; and 6, Lots of useful Chinese words and expressions are added in each topic. The last topic is more comprehensive with brief introduction to Chinese culture. It is especially very helpful for foreign readers to understand briefly Chinese culture. Therefore, it is a study and teaching material and textbook of Chinese language and culture which is suitable for all age groups and levels. Furthermore, this book can be used for self-reading/studying; learning in groups; teaching textbook in the classroom and as a Mandarin language reference book.
Biographie:
Frank Lee was born in Brooklyn, NY. He graduated from Fort Hamilton High School in 2008, and then briefly attended John Jay College for two years. He dropped out of John Jay to figure life out. A few years later he wrote this book.
