Présentation Method Development Using Back - Scattering Interferometry de Bianca Schaffrath Format Broché
- Livre
Résumé :
Back-scattering interferometry is one of the latest technologies for the study and characterization of interactions between small molecules and more complex drug targets in a native-like environment without any labels or tethers. The information obtained with this technique is of great value since the conditions for the measurement are closest to the real conditions in the body. Principle of signal generation are conformational changes that occur during a binding event between a drug target and its ligand. In this project, the binding interaction between the adenosine A2A receptor and the three antagonists ZM 241385, SCH 58251 and XAC, as well as the agonist (CGS 21680) as positive control was examined. The knowledge about the interactions of the A2AR and its antagonists is of high interest for research of neurological disorders like Parkinson?s disease.
