Biographie:
Philip K. Dick (1928-1982) was one of the most influential science fiction writers of the twentieth century. His work explored reality, identity, memory, paranoia, authoritarian power, artificial intelligence, media manipulation, and the instability of ordinary life under technological and political pressure. He wrote dozens of novels and more than a hundred short stories, creating a body of fiction that has become central to modern science fiction and to the broader cultural imagination.Dick's best-known works include The Man in the High Castle, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, Ubik, A Scanner Darkly, Flow My Tears, the Policeman Said, and many influential short stories. His fiction has inspired films and television adaptations including Blade Runner, Total Recall, Minority Report, A Scanner Darkly, and The Man in the High Castle.
