Unlike many introductions to Paul, this one makes a contribution to the ongoing discussion of the significance of the apostle, both as an historical figure and as a contemporary voice. In this introduction to Paul and his gospel (written especially for lay readers, beginning students, and those unsure about what to make of the apostle) Gorman takes Paul seriously, as someone who speaks for God and to us.
