Résumé : Wide Awake is a child's view on the tiring, yet precious process known in our house as the bedtime dance, inspired by our family's routine. After five kids, we have finally learned to do most of this 'dance' prior to laying them down, and believe whole heartedly, the best we can do for our kids is point them to Jesus one more time before they drift off to sleep. My hope for this little book is that it will find its way into the bedtime routines of families all over the world!
Biographie: Julia Akin is mom to five amazing kids who have kept her, and her husband, Scott, doing the bedtime dance more than ten years now. Julia is a pastor's wife, mom, homeschool teacher and, in her spare time, writer. She is author of Making Me Mommy, a book journaling their adoption, and road to parenthood. Wide Awake is her first, but hopefully not last, children's book, inspired by her life with five. You can follow more of their story at www.makingmemommy.com.
