Having gone from suicide to success, Jen Horling knows from personal experience what it takes to overcome tragedy, fears, financial limitations, limiting beliefs and labels. She was the quiet, timid girl in the back of the room, until her father's unexpected death during her first week of college set in motion a journey of rediscovering her place in the world, filled with screamed questions and whispered answers. Like the lead in a superhero origin story, she found friends, and mentors who directed her on her way from a simple midwest town to a fast-growing career in film and her own design firm. Her childhood love of creativity opened surprising opportunities to study in Europe, start her own business, and design for some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. But she's most proud of the journey and what this Voice she speaks of said amidst it. How it led like a Father throughout the whole thing.
