Résumé :
This book presented studies that led to the development of a computer queueing model with an integrated set of algorithms for simulation of multiple queuing parameters. It used ITC workshop in Nigeria as the major case study. Basic approaches of carrying out manual simulation of queueing model were handled. The developed package was validated with experimental and standard mathematical model results and found to be reliable. In addition to being user friendly, carrying out simulation runs using the computer model is more than forty million times faster than doing it with case study. It is also equipped with post object oriented animation and digital tracing for each discrete step of the simulation run. Finally, the book carried out sensitivity analysis with the developed package, hence, it can serve as an effective queueing model teaching aid....

Ugochukwu Okonkwo obtained PhD from the Department of MechanicalEngineering, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. He is currently aLecturer in the same Department and University.
